  • Understanding the skeleton tool and Joint Placement
  • Basics of Skin Painting: Understand the workflow for painting weights on a skin cluster.
  • Deformers: Learn about different types of deformers and how they can be used in rigging.
  • MEL Script Fundamentals: MEL script fundamentals.
  • Character Rigging: Learning to understand the quality and flow of the mesh, topology, understanding of details and facial expression by blends.
  • Overview of software referencing system, biped anatomy, placing joints, and skin painting techniques to achieve correct deformations.
  • IK/FK switches and the fundamentals of the IK/FK Snap system. Explore twist setups, stretchy joint setups, facial setups, and rig clean-ups.
  • Vehicle Rigging: Learn about vehicle rigging. Gain knowledge about joint placement, setting up an auto wheel rigging and writing expressions for these tasks.
